University Leadership Academy
"The University must continue to build and prepare knowledgeable and innovative leaders dedicated to fulfilling the University mission."
Milton A. Gordon
President
California State University, Fullerton
The University Leadership Academy was established to provide leadership
development programs tailored to the specific needs of Cal State Fullerton and
its leaders. Programs are designed to provide university leaders with the
knowledge and
support to help them excel. When individual campus leaders excel, so
too does the university.
Two core leadership programs were initially envisioned when the University Leadership Academy
was established, based on the distinct professional development needs of
individuals at
different junctures in their respective careers:
- Leadership Development Program
Designed for new and emerging leaders, generally individuals with five years of experience or less,
or who are new to higher education, or have not previously participated in a
formal leadership development program. More
- Senior Leaders Program
Designed for experienced leaders. More

Leadership programs offered through the University Leadership Academy are
designed, developed, and implemented via the collaborative efforts of the ULA Advisory
Board, experienced campus leaders from each division. Please feel free
