University Business Institute
The University Business Institute (UBI) has been established to assist the
University and its constituents in responding to the increasing complexity of
managing the University's financial resources. It was
developed based on surveys and focus group feedback from individuals engaged in
various levels of University business activities to support on-going emphasis on
effective resource management. The Institute provides programs for both seasoned and novice administrators, staff, and academic leaders whose job duties include fiscal and human resource management and who wish to expand their
knowledge in the
following areas:
- University stewardship and fiduciary responsibilities
- Budget and financial management
- Human resources management
- Risk management and liability
- Internal controls
- Resource planning
